A boutique hair salon in Tunbridge Wells - a light, fresh space with splashes of vibrant colour. Not only a work place, but a space to create in. These ideas brought us to the name 'The Studio'

Established in 2010 by Mustafa & Natalie Hassan, The Studio is an independent hairdressers that celebrates creativity. Based in central Tunbridge Wells in Kent, it was founded on the simple belief that with a few key elements - knowledge, passion & dedication, alongside a personal & relaxed environment - a truly unique experience can be created with the clients best interest at heart.

'Our aim is to create a calm sanctuary for our clients to spend their time with us. To provide a genuinely warm and caring experience, alongside a high end personal service. For us, this is what really creates an experience over just going to the hairdressers.

I am hugely passionate about my career. I began training as a hairdresser in 2002 at the Vidal Sassoon college in London where I really developed my passion for hairdressing. Nurturing my skills, I learnt to push the boundaries and challenge myself. This gave me a firm foundation to venture further afield. Working in London, I was fortunate enough to work with some of the most talented hairdressers and well established brands within hairdressing. I now live in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, where I have been based since 2008. I knew instantly that this is where I wanted to have my own hair salon. For me hairdressing is so much more than my profession, it is my creative outlet. I dedicate all of my energy into each and every cut, colour and style I create. I take great pride in my work and love the creative challenge that my job brings to me every day.

I have worked at The Studio since it's opening in 2010. I love my job, in such an intimate salon space you really get to know each and every client, you build friendships. It creates such a relaxed, welcoming environment for both clients and staff. Any questions you might have regarding the service we provide here to what products would work well for your hair, feel free to ask me. We do work based on an appointment basis, however I will always check with our stylists if they have any flexibility to see if we can accommodate you.

We aim to keep our pricing clearly laid out to our customers. We do not believe in extra/hidden charges. Our colour appointments are priced according to time. Before your first appointment a full consultation will be given where the time of your appointment will be estimated based on your personal requirements. Every appointment is tailored to you as an individual.

A skin test is required for all new clients 48 hours before your first colour appointment.

We understand that you may need to cancel/reschedule your appointment with us. We kindly ask that we are given at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Please note a charge of 50% of the total cost of your appointment will be charged if we receive less than 24 hours notice of a cancellation. We hope you understand that as a boutique hair salon our stylists do get very booked up and when we are given less than 24 hours notice we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services with us.
